As you say "gradually, subtly, deceptively" but I take issue with the fact that it constitutes consent in any real definition of the word. The "implied" consent through compliance is, in itself, IMO, deceptive - aka another form of lying.

Hello Zoe. A maxim of law is an established principle or proposition.

1. A principle of law universally admitted as being just and consonant with reason.

2. Maxims in law are somewhat like axioms in geometry. They are principles and authorities, part of the general customs or common law of the land; and are of the same strength as acts of parliament, when judges have determined what is a maxim; which belongs to the judges and not the jury.

Maxims:

Ignorance of those things one is bound to know does not excuse.

He who is silent appears to consent.

Custom and agreement overrule law.

Since Mar 2020, the majority of people rather than rebut, complied with tyranny.

It seems to me, covid-19 was a catalyst for people to open their mind to new awareness, take responsibility for their choices, ask questions, do some research. How many aware people, myself included, tried to inform relatives, friends, neighbours of the dangers of covid experimental m-RNA gene therapy injections, to no avail? How many of them were injured, witnessed others injured and/or deceased after a covid shot, and reject any possibility the injury or death was related to the shot? How many relationships were severed as a result of trying to help? What we don't fix we get to keep so gradual, subtle, deceptive harm continues. Does this make sense?

Yes, of course Doreen, what you wrote makes perfect sense and I too tried to inform people/family/friends of the dangers of submitting to the CONvid tyranny, especially the deadly shots.

HOWEVER, people were being coerced/forced to do things because of threats, etc. I call that rape because forcing someone to do something they don't want to do simply because they are afraid, IS rape IMO.

If the rapist actually informed people of their rights/the dangers of having poison shot into their bloodstream, they would have made decisions to save themselves I think. But since I (and you) are not the authorities who have the power to hurt people and control them, people don't listen because the authorities and their capos (the press) constantly propagandized to them and literally terrorized us all, had fined and physically attacked people to discourage them from standing up for themselves, they listened to the bully/rapist/demonic controller.

I still don't think that excuses them from digging in their heels but let's be honest. The full force of a totalitarian regime and their terroristic edicts is quite a lot to stand up to, especially if you are unsupported socially or by family. People made decisions based historic references, knowing they could very well be cast out of society if they did not comply. Where's the fairness in that? I don't think "ignorance of those things one is bound to know" applies under the circumstances, do you? I do know about the maxim though I did not know of the context (so thank you for that most excellent and relevant reference.).

We live in a very complex world where it seems you have to be an expert in everything under the sun in order to protect yourself. It's quite impossible when you're trying to hold down a job, keep a roof over your head and food on your table, to become an expert in everything so you rely on experts (I don't, but most people do and I used to) and the experts were all in on the scam, so where's the justice in that? Especially the medical mafia. People are still dumbed down enough to think their doctors know anything at all about health. I could go on and on and I realize it doesn't change the maxim, but when you're being terrorized, you cannot think straight. When people are being arrested and ridiculed and thrown to the ground and the full force of media is lying to you every single hour of every single day, it is a miracle of sanity, wisdom and courage to be able to make a decision that puts your very existence in jeopardy. I know you can understand what I'm saying. That puts the maxim under a different lens, does it not Doreen? Or am I just being stubborn?
