Wow - excellent collection of articles! The trick to the over 70 thing is we are not
"drivers" unless we are making a living by driving. All of us who do not "drive" are travellers who have the right not to be molested in our travels on the roadways. We do not need "drivers" licences because we are not drivers. I know a couple of people who have successfully challenged the drivers' licence thing and owning their own cars instead of registering them with the province which is the equivalent of handing over the vehicle to province and then being "allowed" to "drive" it. It's really complicated and super silly.
