Embedded deep in the human psyche is a deep truth that applies to every human, the hero’s journey, a metaphor for the inner journey of transformation shared by heroes in every time and place.

Leaving the ordinary world to enter the ‘special’ world is a metaphor for stepping into chaos, uncertainty and the unknown that Yung calls the unconscious mind, where unrealized potential exists.

Journey stages may be avoided, repeated, or shifted depending on the individual’s needs. The hero's journey can be just as much as an inner voyage into the unconscious mind as it is an external adventure.

Star Wars most commonly cited examples of the hero’s journey

In the departure stage, Luke Skywalker leaves his home planet of Tatooine with the goal of helping the rebellion defeat the Galactic Empire.

In the initiation stage, Luke undergoes various trials and tribulations on his heroic journey. He trains with Obi-Wan Kenobi to learn how to use the Force, rescues Princess Leia from the Death Star, and retrieves the Death Star plans and delivers them to the rebellion base. At last, he finally uses the Force to destroy the Death Star, fulfilling the purpose of his quest.

Finally, in the return stage, Luke returns to the rebellion base and wins a medal to commemorate his victory. He has helped his home world defeat the oppressive empire and gets to live as a hero.

The Hero's Journey is a universal motif of adventure and transformation that runs through virtually all of the world's mythic traditions. Campbell also explores the Cosmogonic Cycle, the mythic pattern of world creation and destruction.

The cosmogonic cycle is the origin story of the universe, and means by which it will be destroyed and rebuilt. In The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Campbell refers to the cosmogonic cycle as a macrocosm of our wake-sleep cycle.

The hero with a million distractions

Life threatening distractions [scamdemic, bioweapons, climate hoax, fire, war, etc.] purposefully keep people in fear and focused on the physical with little time to explore the deeper meaning of life, escalating chaos, and how to awaken the hero within to co-create a peaceful, just, coherent world for us and future generations.

Truth is power to disintegrate the forces of darkness and disempower the globalist control system, once and for all. Truth is power to unite all of humanity and provide the dynamic foundation for true leadership and true trusteeship of the planet. Let us commit now and be properly prepared to lead the world beyond ruination into rebirth.
