Broken promises
Isn’t it time to admit politicians can, and do, say ‘anything’ to get elected, and that unless a politician on the campaign trail promises ‘under oath’ it’s mere words w/out accountability? When you place trust in an electoral candidate who breaks promises, there is no betrayal b/c you ‘chose’ to believe what was said.
This has been going on for millennia. So, the question to ask now is: who is it that needs to change, the rulers or the ruled?
