Good find Doreen.

This warning needs to be handed out in stores to parents who have-small children in shopping carts using a devise to keep them busy.

“It is now normal for children to use mobile phones and for adults to use them near children, but it is not generally known that children absorb much higher amounts of radiation than adults, twice the amount in the brain and ten times the amount in the bone marrow according to Gandhi et. al. (1996) and IARC data from 2013. Adults have not been made aware of this.”

Now add that to new printers. Trying to find a printer that is not wireless only is becoming a challenge.

And the looks from the 20 something store employee for asking for wireless connection. One replied to me he could not understand why I needed a printer. I asked for someone else to assist in my search.

thankfully I still have my old school copier (until the cartridges are discontinued 😿)

Amazing how that happens🤬

I had a great HP printer that lasted years and was still working great UNTIL HP stopped updating the drivers making the printer unusable.

That old HP laserjet 5 workhorse got about 3k pages out of one cartridge. We have gone way past the sweet spot of tech. It will never return as just a useful tool.

This is great news and hopefully a trend into courts actually making sense in their determinations. Thanks for covering it Doreen.
