I know, it looks like the jig is up and the young people in service industries here can barely function anymore. Do not be discouraged. When we get weary and there is nobody near us to uplift us, we look elsewhere for inspiration. Positive forces surround us and all we have to do is realise that.

Likewise with The Last Ship series. The crew of the John Paul Jones sails on and battles on in a devastated world. Look at the life of the original JPJ on wiki. He was persecuted by the Russian and British Empires but he stood his ground. If he had not, if he had given up, he would not have established the US Navy to battle the same evil forces we face today.
It may sound corny but I have to say it anyway.
That old American Spirit. Human patriotism which joins us beyond borders and boundaries. The original homo sapiens, 100% authentic and pure, first, best and always.
This is why we are here and this is what we do.
