28:20 mins Christian White: What is your take considering the geopolitical climate we're currently in today?

G. Edward Griffin: Is the question are we in World War III? Well, yeah, this war has been going on even before World War I. Once we got into war we intentionally prolonged them. I discovered this during an interview with Norman Dodd. The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace was a very large nonprofit organization. Norman Dodd was assigned to the Reece Committee to investigate non nonprofits at the end of World War II. Why investigate a nonprofit organization? Through research I found that during and toward the end of World War II some of the largest nonprofit organizations the Ford Foundation particularly, the Rockefeller Group, and the Carnegie Endowment Fund for International Peace were promoting communist literature. They were circulating pamphlets written by Joseph Stalin that talked about elimination of capitalism and free enterprise and rise of the people against capitalists the great exploiters. These nonprofits were printing and circulating it. There was a lot of pressure on Congress to investigate these organizations.

Investigation begins

It was Congressman Reece who took the lead.

31:44 mins Griffin: Norman Dodd got a phone call from president of the Carnegie Fund who said "Would you like to come visit me?" So he went. According to Norman Dodd, whom I interviewed on video, I still have documentation in his own words saying the things I am about to tell you.

Norman Dodd described it this way [paraphrased]

When I arrived at Mr. Gaither's office, president of the Carnegie Fund, he said, "Mr. Dodd, you're probably wondering why I invited you to my office." Dodd said, “Well, Mr. Gaither, yes.” Gaither continued. He said, "Well, let me answer the question of why we invited you. We understand you are interested in finding out what we do here." “Yes, that's exactly why I'm here."

And so Gaither launched right into it. He said, "We here have been under informal direction of the White House for quite a while, all during the war and before. And the substance of that directive was to change life in the United States so it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union”.

Dodd almost fell off of his chair when he heard that coming from president of the Carnegie Endowment Fund. Dodd said, "Well, if that was what you're doing, Mr. Gaither, why don't you tell the American people that? And Gaither said, “We would never consider doing such a thing.”

Prolong the war

Mr. Gaither said their primary effort as the end of World War II approached, was to make sure the war did not end quickly. They wanted to prolong the war. “Why would you want to prolong a war when your enemy was already offering peace?” The answer was, ‘Well, because in times of war the population is only concerned about winning the war. They're focused on the horrors of losing the war and losing everything to a cruel conquering enemy. Under those conditions of wartime, the people are not interested in preserving their liberties. They are willing to make changes in their culture, their legal system, their religious, their political system, their monetary system to end the war. So we want to keep the war going to keep that mentality of fear in the American people so we can change the way they live, so eventually they will be able to be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.”

America and the Soviet Union merger

36:30 mins Griffin: There in a nutshell is what's going on in the world today, not by the Russians nor the Chinese. It’s being done by Americans, some of the wealthiest in the world. It's coming from Wall Street. It's coming from New York. It's coming from the educational system. It's coming from the monetary system. And it's coming from people who say they are Americans determined to destroy America so it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.

One world government

The reason Gaither mentioned the Soviet Union and perhaps why Franklin Delano Roosevelt mentioned the Soviet Union to be merged, is b/c they were about as opposite as you could think of from the American way.

Their goal was not just to unite with Russia or with the Soviets. Their goal was to blend all countries of the world into one global government based on the model of collectivism. If you get the United States and Soviet Union to merge, you could merge all the rest easily. That's the intent of that phrase about the Soviet Union. Once you understand the background and long range strategies going on as far back as World War I and II, you realize more readily and clearly what is happening today. What we are seeing today is a mop-up operation. The hard grunt work has already been done.

Psychological warfare

39:06 mins Griffin: One of the most important elements of psychological warfare is called controlled opposition. It's the tactic of providing your own opposition to ensure you control both sides of a conflict.

Politicians are not there to win. They're not there to represent your point of view. They're there to convince you that you have a champion and you must support them as your only chance of defeating the evil surrounding us. They are actors and very good at it.

Controlled opposition

48:04 mins Griffin: Lenin had one theme throughout his writing he was very clear about. The Leninist strategy of controlled opposition. It’s in newspapers daily when you know what to look for. First, clear your mind of the illusion that just b/c somebody's elected to office they are good; they are all actors.

It’s a set up

Our task is to see through deceptive slogans. Get past the things you want to hear. When somebody holds up the Constitution and says, "I stand for the Constitution" ask them, "What's in the Constitution you stand for?" They won't be able to answer b/c it's an act. They're not deep on anything only good on the surface. It’s all a set up so you lose under their leadership bit by bit, while struggling and fighting b/c you think they’re representing you.

Until the people acknowledge controlled opposition as the principal tactic of our enemy in this war on man, how can we triumph?
