US officially rejected UN Sustainable Development Goals
Mar 11.25
Excerpts
The United States executed a stunning, although not unexpected about-face: the Trump administration declared it now “rejects and denounces” these very same global objectives, becoming what appears to be the first nation to abandon the framework since its unanimous adoption.
The consequential announcement arrived not through a high-profile press conference or presidential statement. Still, it nested in diplomatic remarks delivered by Edward Heartney, Minister Counselor to ECOSOC at the US Mission to the United Nations.
Speaking at the 58th Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly on March 4, 2025, Heartney transformed what would have typically been routine comments on a resolution about peaceful coexistence into the vehicle for a significant geopolitical pivot.
“Put simply, globalist endeavours like Agenda 2030 and the SDGs lost at the ballot box,” Heartney stated in the prepared remarks. “Therefore, the United States rejects and denounces the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals, and it will no longer reaffirm them as a matter of course.”
Vision and scope of UN Sustainable Development Goals
When Obama committed to the goals in 2015, he aligned them with American values and interests, describing them as morally sound and strategically smart for US foreign policy. Until now, the US has maintained at least nominal support for the SDGs throughout ensuing administrations, even as implementation priorities have shifted.
Sovereignty concerns and “America first” principles
In explaining the policy reversal, Heartney characterised the SDGs as advancing “a programme of soft global governance inconsistent with US sovereignty and adverse to the rights and interests of Americans.”
The announcement explicitly linked the decision to the administration’s interpretation of the 2024 election results, stating: “In the last US election, the mandate from the American people was clear: the government of the United States must refocus on the interests of Americans. We must care first and foremost for our own – that is our moral and civic duty.”
Additional concerns over China’s influence
We are also concerned that the resolution’s titular reference to ‘peaceful coexistence’ could be co-opted to imply the United Nations’ endorsement of China’s Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence,” Heartney stated, warning that this could “undermine the UN’s independence” and “international calls for accountability for China’s flagrant human rights abuses.”
Implications for global sustainable development
As one of the world’s largest economies and historically one of the most influential voices at the UN, the American withdrawal from the framework will impact international funding, coordination, and political momentum behind sustainable development initiatives.
Notably, the statement did not specify whether the US would cease all activities related to sustainable development or merely disassociate from the UN framework while continuing domestic and international work aligned with sustainable principles through other mechanisms.
Broader pattern of international disengagement
While Heartney’s remarks that the US “strongly supports efforts to sustain peace and pursue diplomatic solutions to crises in the world,” and “firmly support[s] individual rights,” the rejection of the SDGs represents one of the most significant departures yet from the post-World War II international order that the US played a central role to establish. Nothing can hide the truth of betrayal by state, church, corporations, media, academics, scientists, et al.
As more humans awaken to the truth, to no rule of law, depopulation and tyrannical rule, just like a political candidate will say and do anything to get elected, so too will this satanic cult say and do ‘anything’ to advance their world coup.
Artificial intelligence controls all communication ‘to’ humans, ‘by’ humans and ‘amongst’ humans. This allows the satanic cult to know exactly what to say, what to do and how far to push their agenda to maintain control of populations world-wide.

The U.S. taking a stand against Agenda 2030 is a massive moment of triumph for national sovereignty.
The U.S. rejection of this agenda marks a turning point. It signals a shift away from global governance and back to national sovereignty—a victory for freedom-loving people everywhere.
Zoom in
The ancient battle between good and evil is once again playing out during the close of one world age and beginning of a new era. This battle will continue ad infinitum unless the majority of people discipline their minds to see through the propaganda and stealth mind control techniques that lead to man pitted against man, self sabotage, self-enslavement, and unless recognized and rebutted, gradual extermination of the vast majority of humans.
What is unfolding world-wide is not politics
How can anyone believe satanic cultists after millennia of planning, strategizing, infiltrating, deceiving, distracting, indoctrinating, psychologically manipulating, surveilling and debt enslaving humanity … will possibly reverse course now? https://www.ourgreaterdestiny.ca/p/cloward-piven-strategy-a-warning
Is retaining One Health a clue?
Comment: It is unfortunate the US did not and has not yet mentioned One Health, which is even worse than Agenda 2030. https://www.ourgreaterdestiny.ca/p/usa-abandons-un-sustainable-development/comment/113901271
My response: Good eye! Is it a clue? One Health is an umbrella term for messing with the lives of humans and animals, endorsed by Bill Gates, the World Economic Forum, and United Nations.
The first-ever cross-agency One Health plan. Sayer Ji says “By focusing on zoonotic diseases, the framework risks amplifying crisis-driven health governance, further entrenching centralized global systems that bypass democratic oversight”. https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/us-launches-one-health-plan-global-power-play/
