Jazz Jennings rose to fame several years ago when he began to transition from a male to a female as a small child. TLC featured him and his family for years in their television show, I Am Jazz. He has undergone hormone treatments, puberty blockers, and even surgeries yet he is severely struggling with his mental health and says he doesn't feel like himself.

The following investigative report was contributed by @LisaMacRichards (a pseudonym). @LisaMacRichards works at a Canadian hospital and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
The Canadian Mental Health Association references WPATH in its public website statement that medical transition for gender-diverse youth is the best way to treat the distress that arises when an individual’s body does not match their gender identity.
WPATH guidelines did not quality for ECRI trust scorecard because the guidelines were over five years old, and “did not use a systematic review to process”.
“Neither the WPATH nor the Endocrine Society guidelines on transgender care have been endorsed by any Canadian organization(s) and therefore are not included in our database.” Joule
