Feedback to government and CFIA
Thanks to Judy who sent me 🇨🇦PCN | t.me/PrivateCanadianNews Since I am not on Telegram, I searched and found the following.
Stand united Canadians
On November 22nd, farmers and supporters will take a stand with tractors, trucks, and cars across all major highways in Canada to self-empower and raise awareness of government and CFIA unconscionable actions. This is our chance to show unity, strength, and the voice of the people!
We need thousands of participants and your support is crucial. Share this far and wide, invite friends, family, coworkers, anyone who cares about our farmers, food sufficiency and a brighter future. The more people we get involved, the stronger our message will be!
Join us, spread the word, and let’s make this movement impossible to ignore! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1317010423067206/permalink/1317891432979105/

I don’t know why I hadn’t thought about this until now but we have a right to ALL of the records the CFIA has for this case and the RCMP. I just filed my first FOIA request this morning. Here’s what I asked for:
Records requested
All records related to HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza) laboratory testing and surveillance at Universal Ostrich Farm, Edgewood, BC, from December 1, 2024, to November 10, 2025, including:
1. LABORATORY TESTING – ALL SAMPLES
RT-PCR results (initial, quarantine, post-cull)
Cycle threshold (Ct) values for every sample and control
Amplification curves and raw fluorescence data
Assay name, version, and validation summary
2. PCR PARAMETERS & CONTROLS
Primer/probe sequences (H5, N1, matrix)
Thermal cycling protocol
Master mix lot numbers
Positive/negative control results
3. SAMPLE COLLECTION & HANDLING
Sample type (swab, tissue, etc.)
Time from death to sampling
Storage/transport conditions
Chain-of-custody forms
4. POST-CULL SAMPLING (NOV 7–8, 2025)
Number and list of carcasses sampled
Tissue types tested
Time from euthanasia to sampling
5. VIRUS ISOLATION & SEQUENCING
Whole genome sequences (raw FASTQ, assembled FASTA)
Phylogenetic analysis summary
GISAID upload status
6. NECROPSY & PATHOLOGY
Necropsy reports (gross lesions, cause of death)
Histopathology results (if performed)
7. QUALITY CONTROL
Internal QC logs
Equipment calibration records
Evidence of re-testing or duplicates
8. DECISION-MAKING
Records on:
Use of only 2 initial samples
Refusal of live-bird testing or independent lab
Anonymous tip validation process
Preferred format: Electronic (PDF, CSV, FASTQ)
I consent to partial disclosure.
Public Interest Statement
Disclosure of Ct values, raw data, and testing protocols is critical to public trust in CFIA’s use of PCR to justify mass culls of non-commercial flocks.

Balance and harmony
Rather than protest, which sets up a counter force, how about shifting our focus to farmers and Canadians self-empowering, uniting to raise awareness, to sustain food sufficiency, to restore coherence and contribute to the betterment of all, which align with the Universal law of Balance and Harmony. TY!
Without prejudice and without recourse
