In a risk assessment summary, the CDC wrote that the BA.2.86 variant may be more likely to infect people with existing immunity to COVID-19, either from vaccinations or prior infections, than previous variants.

Some public and private employers are returning to mask mandates amid a recent spike in COVID-19 cases nationwide due to new variants of the virus, according to the Associated Press.

What’s the deeper message in ‘either from vaccinations’? Could the message be we were lied to? How is it that the vaccines and boosters did not work? And if they did not work, why do it again, and again and again?
