In 2003, the group revised its name to reflect its mission as an advocate for “local governments on the international sustainability stage.” Renamed ICLEI | Local Governments for Sustainability; the United Nations strong arm to implement Agenda 21 and 2030 sustainable development goals.

Climategate 2.0: New E-Mails Rock The Global Warming Debate

5,000 emails among scientists central to the assertion that humans are causing a global warming crisis were anonymously released to the public yesterday, igniting a new firestorm of controversy nearly two years to the day after similar emails ignited the Climategate scandal.
Three themes are emerging from the newly released emails:
(1) prominent scientists central to the global warming debate are taking measures to conceal rather than disseminate underlying data and discussions;
(2) these scientists view global warming as a political “cause” rather than a balanced scientific inquiry and
(3) many of these scientists frankly admit to each other that much of the science is weak and dependent on deliberate manipulation of facts and data.
A defining characteristic of science is the open sharing of scientific data, theories and procedures so independent parties, and especially skeptics of a particular theory or hypothesis, can replicate and validate asserted experiments or observations. Emails between Climategate scientists, however, show a concerted effort to hide rather than disseminate underlying evidence and procedures. A new documentary, Climate: The Movie, by maverick filmmaker Martin Durkin, is becoming a phenomenon, though it’s received almost no publicity in the mainstream media. No science is ever settled
It’s hard to challenge the narrative about climate change because it supposedly reflects the ‘settled’ scientific consensus. The Movie confronts this argument head on, not by disputing the 97 per cent figure, but by interviewing William Happer, a spry 84-year-old former physics professor at Princeton.
‘There’s this mischievous idea promoted that scientific truth is determined by consensus,’ he tells Durkin. ‘In real science, there are always arguments, no science is ever settled. It is absurd when people say the science of climate is settled. There’s no such thing as settled science, especially when it comes to climate.’

Please share the movie with student groups and across social media platforms especially where young people are active. Ask them to share widely so more young people learn the truth and begin to question alleged official narratives used to steal their health, well being and future.
