2017 President Trump Issues Statement of Support for Law Enforcement
January 20, 2017
On his first day in office President Donald J. Trump issued a statement of support for the nation's law enforcement officers on the official White House Website.
The statement titled "Standing Up For Our Law Enforcement Community" is below in its entirety.
One of the fundamental rights of every American is to live in a safe community. A Trump Administration will empower our law enforcement officers to do their jobs and keep our streets free of crime and violence. The Trump Administration will be a law and order administration. President Trump will honor our men and women in uniform and will support their mission of protecting the public. The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong. The Trump Administration will end it.
Our country needs more law enforcement, more community engagement, and more effective policing. Click the link to read more b/c it was removed from the White House website. https://www.policemag.com/patrol/news/15329986/president-trump-issues-statement-of-support-for-law-enforcement

Trump’s Executive Order Says It’s Time To ‘Unleash’ Cops, Turn America Into A Police State
By Tim Cushing

This is a literal police state invitation, being extended by a guy who loves law and order (except when he or his followers are caught up in the system), to a subservient dude who’s just happy to be on TV now and then. It’s a “do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law,” but I have to imagine even Aleister Crowley during his most hashish-addled days might have thought twice before turning soldiers into cops. And I would like to think even some cops might have a problem with this. Constitution-Free Policing in America
By John & Nisha Whitehead

Imagine: It’s the middle of the night. Suddenly, your front door is splintered by battering rams. Shadowy figures flood your home, screaming orders, pointing guns, threatening violence. You and your children are dragged out into the night—barefoot, in your underwear, in the rain. Your home is torn apart. Your valuables seized. Your sense of safety, demolished. But this isn’t a robbery by lawless criminals.
This is what terror policing looks like in Trump’s America: raids by night, flashbangs at dawn, mistaken identities, and shattered lives. There were no apologies. No compensation. No accountability.
Build-up of the police state didn’t begin with Trump. What he has done is seize upon decades of bipartisan failure—and strip away the last remaining restraints. Continues at https://www.lewrockwell.com/2025/05/no_author/home-invasions-on-the-rise-constitution-free-policing-in-trumps-america/

The Oldest Trick in Tyranny's Playbook
Excerpts
Governments do not degenerate into tyranny all at once, it is the work of years, decades and/or centuries. Tyranny usually begins with exceptions, justifications, emergencies and builds and builds until power becomes almost untouchable.
10:22 mins John Locke didn't just warn about oppression of tyrants, he actually made the case for something almost no one even thinks about today but should. He took the position that the most dangerous person in government is actually the one who uses extra constitutional power, unconstitutional power, the dangerous precedent for things people like and for popular end goals because there’s not much opposition to it and it establishes precedent.
John Dickinson warned the smaller the usurpation, the smaller the precedent, the more dangerous it is because people are more likely to ignore it. If we understand human nature and corrupting influence of power, and we understand all through history governments always seek to grow and expand power, the small precedents are the most dangerous because they're easier to get away with and build over time.
