13 out of 39 products had indications of PFAS
Certain brands of dental floss have been found to have high concentration of #pfas , a chemical found in non-stick cookware, pesticides, paint and cleaning products.
33% of dental floss products tested had indications of PFAS “forever chemicals,” while 67% of products did not. In other words, 13 out of 39 products had indications of PFAS. No tested tooth floss marketed to children had any indications of PFAS.
