North Carolina flood damage underestimated
With all of western North Carolina and parts of eastern Tennessee roads damaged, destroyed or simply gone, any estimation of repair costs is far underestimated. I present to you a rundown of the first day of Octobers images and words from those on the ground first hand.

Iran Launches Missile Attack on Israel Amid Escalating Regional Tensions.

This reminds me of Reiner Füllmich’s Corona Investigative Committee in Germany. A few of the episodes sometime around 2021, I believe, reported on a very similar catastrophe in Germany or Austria, leaving residents of a small town stranded on their roofs for 24 hours with no federal help anywhere in sight. In fact, emergency volunteers arriving from far and wide were met by police road blocks and turned back. Residents organized their own rescue with local farm and construction machinery, and were completely cut off from the outside. Several days later a military plane conducted very low altitude flights over the disaster zone, ostensibly recording people‘s efforts. I have looked for these episodes but been unable to locate. I am thinking this was the test case for what we are seeing now on a larger scale.
