Substack just posted: We're investigating reports of increased inauthentic signup behavior. You may notice a sharp decrease in the number of free subscribers as we remove accounts that violate our TOS

I attempted to contact Substack customer relations about allowing comments on Fridays to unpaid subscribers. Everything is now automated = Our support chatbot is an automated service provided as a convenience. You understand that support chats may provide inaccurate or incomplete information. https://substack.com/chatbot-tos

Not that it matters, but whose idea was this? Certainly wise. I personally have always had a problem paying for Substack. I think a lot of these writers don't understand, without us they don't exist. It's a mutual collaboration as we spend just as much time reading all these Substacks as they do writing them. Not to mention, how many articles WE then forward to others. The comment section is just as good as it often provides just as much relevant information as the article itself and sometimes, even more. Furthermore the commentators are some of the very finest on the Internet today. None of the childish name calling crap you see elsewhere. Personally speaking I get insulted when someone writes something and you have to pay to read it. The most important aspect of Substack is GETTING THE TRUTH OUT and debunking all the lies. Without Substack - these bastards win.

Thank you, BJ. As I have written before, each of us is like a piece of a divine puzzle. When you play your piece I can play mine and so on. Gradually, as each of us plays our piece through collaboration and cooperation the bigger picture reveals itself, and like a gyroscope can get us back on the right trajectory.

Doreen, it is becoming more and more difficult to decipher fact from fiction and therefore if people know the truth and can also corroborate it why in Gods name would you withhold it from being shared with others? This window of opportunity is growing smaller and smaller by the day. I talk with people I've met on Substack and we are always questioning some of these really popular YouTube channels and guests as paid opposition. Why are they allowed to get away with so much while others are practically being carted off the prison?

Hello BJ. There is so much information, deception and contradiction it is mind boggling to navigate.

Many popular podcasters and their ilk cross promote one another and get paid in the process. https://www.ourgreaterdestiny.ca/p/the-wellness-company-online-influence

In ancient times false prophets were stoned to death. Today, propaganda is legal and people get rich by psychologically manipulating and mind controlling others, until individuals mature spiritually enough to magnetize what they need to see through the deceptions and stop idolizing false prophets.

The way to get closer to the truth is for us to engage in dialogue or debate. I know lots of people tremor at that word "debate" but it doesn't have to be aggressive or have a winner. It just needs to have both sides being questioned at the same session and for us to hear each side and make up our own minds.

I'm so with you. I unsubscribe when they insist on being paid for their readers to be able to make comments. They can stick it as far as I'm concerned. It's all part of the one-way system that is our stupid culture, it's always got to be one-way, and to hell with the other side of the relationship. For it is a relationship between writer and reader. It is so much like blackmail that it makes me want to throw up. I only keep one subscription that doesn't allow comments. I wish she would allow comments but she disallows ALL comments, not just comments that are not paid to her. How utterly whorish they are. I don't know if I would even bother writing my comments to substack writers who are so whorish. I'll find the ones who believe and uphold free speech. And hope to find the best others there too.

Great and all as substack is, I have my suspicions it is a honey trap tbh. Could be wrong.

Thank you, Pam.

In May 2018, I awoke to find my WordPress blog, 5,000 subscribers and other truth defender blogs scrubbed. Subsequently, I paid another platform a king's ransom to re-establish my blog and worked through great challenges until someone recommended Substack. Since Substack was free, I suspected it was to corral and identify truth defenders, inconsequential to me as long as I could publish the closest truth.

I suspect my Substack blog is shadow banned b/c the # of views is very low.

I do remember that Doreen, when your blog was taken down!

I set up at an Iceland server thinking it was 'free speech' however a fellow blogger who did the same, got shut down there too! Posting 'certain' forbidden topics!

I believe my WP site is shadow banned too.

Thanks for all your valuable work! <3

If we simply condemned censorship IN ALL CASES they wouldn't be able to do that. But we accept censorship, we don't uphold free speech, not even many of the substack writers. How advanced must they be in their thinking when they will whore themselves and not give out their work unless they are paid for it. It's so sickening. There is only one way we should censor if there ever is the need for it - it needs to have the precise number of those who agree or disagree before it is implemented. Unilateral censorship endangers our entire species.

Truth should not cost money period, end of story. We need the truth out there more than ever to wake up the brain dead idiots. I have come to the conclusion that Substack is no better than any of the other shiit out there. I came to Substack to write, but have not done much as I try to stay off the computer. I notice when I try to scroll I see the same people over and over. No new ones, so I believe Substack is just collecting information on those of us who are truth seekers.

Hello Diane. Technology makes it difficult to publish the truth aided and abetted by anyone who blocks unpaid Substack subscribers from publishing information that connects the dots and/or expands awareness. Each of us can contribute to solutions by staying out of judgment b/c everyone will reap what they sow sooner or later. Happy New Year!

Thank you... I wrote about this dilemma as well. It is great to get paid... I have had no income since 2021 ... yet, this platform was designed so that we can get our message out. If people can afford to pay me... super, but I'd rather they have the opportunity to read and comment, if they cannot. This platform was designed to enable free speech and truth to the masses who have been blocked... feel free to share this link along with your own.

This is such a good idea. I do have big reservations about the pay thing. However I do acknowledge & appreciate that some rely on this for income... that's fair enough. I'm thinking of those who've lost their incomes during the covid scam era. But otherwise I'm in favour of freedom of info. I have always avoided ads and requesting payment. However at this point although not wealthy in monetary terms, I can do without payments. I live simply.

However I cannot really afford to sub to the many stacks I would like to. So be it.

Relying on this for income is not a good reason. They must have something else they get their income from. This work is too important to stop it from going to everyone. They really must be very myopic if they do this work and only do it for profit. If they didn't, if they had integrity and if they cared about humanity as much as they make out, they would not charge hear others' views/comments. They would be just as eager as anyone because we do not know where the answers will come from. We are all going in the dark, and we are helping each other grow and become more conscious. So they do humanity a disservice by not understanding what they are really causing. They are putting their own self-interest above humanity's. I'm so glad this is coming out because though everyone is saying they are "awakening" so many "truth tellers" are charging to be part of their clique. And this will only cause another elite coming through. That is the program and we need to be aware of the program that drives us. It drives all of us and we can be free of it only through awareness.
