As we enter the peak respiratory virus season (including influenza, RSV, and COVID-19), the Toronto Grace Health Centre is reinstating the seasonal masking protocol to protect vulnerable patients, staff, and visitors across our hospital. This follows ‘recommendations’ from Toronto Public Health and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) Medical Directors as of October 3, 2025.
Masking ‘Requirement’
Effective Monday, November 24, 2025:
All staff, physicians, contractors, learners, volunteers, and visitors are required to wear a medical mask in all clinical and shared patient-care areas, including:
Inpatient units
Outpatient clinics
Waiting rooms and treatment rooms

Scarborough Health Network

Respiratory illness season is upon us, and with increasing levels of influenza, COVID-19, RSV and other viruses circling our community, it’s important to stay updated on how to protect your health. The Infection Prevention and Control Medical Directors for Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network (TAHSN) are aligned in the benefit of seasonal universal masking, and in accordance, Scarborough Health Network (SHN) along with hospitals across the city are updating masking guidelines to return to practices during high-risk periods.
Masking ‘guidelines’
Starting Monday, November 17, masking will be mandatory for patients, visitors, and healthcare workers in patient care areas. This includes:
Patient rooms and treatment spaces (i.e. clinic rooms, dialysis, gyms, etc.)
Hallways when providing direct care and patient transport
Designated patient areas and during organized patient gatherings
Patient waiting areas, such as clinic waiting areas/rooms

TORONTO — Today, Dr. Kieran Moore, Chief Medical Officer of Health, issued the following update on respiratory virus season in Ontario:
“With the holiday season fast approaching, it’s important to take all necessary precautions to keep yourself and your loved ones healthy, including by ensuring your vaccines are up to date.
The flu shot remains one of the most effective ways to protect ourselves from influenza. Each year, the vaccine is designed to cover multiple strains. Getting vaccinated reduces your risk of catching the flu and, most importantly, lowers the chance of severe illness, hospitalization and serious complications.
Flu and COVID-19 shots are already available across Ontario for people 6 months and older at participating pharmacies, doctor and nurse practitioner offices or public health units. Is a Mask That Covers Mouth and Nose Free from Undesirable Side Effects in Everyday Use and Free of Potential Hazards?

Up until now, there has been no comprehensive investigation as to the adverse health effects masks can cause. The aim was to find, test, evaluate and compile scientifically proven related side effects of wearing masks. For a quantitative evaluation, 44 mostly experimental studies were referenced, and for a substantive evaluation, 65 publications were found. The literature revealed relevant adverse effects of masks in numerous disciplines. In this paper, we refer to the psychological and physical deterioration as well as multiple symptoms described because of their consistent, recurrent and uniform presentation from different disciplines as a Mask-Induced Exhaustion Syndrome (MIES).

People must not comply to this ,it has nothing to do health. It's satanic ritual,and control by these criminals, it's happening in Britain also, You increase your CO2 levels inhaling your own breathe increasing your respirations, impacting your well-being, unless your wearing something like a Hospital grade N95 Masks they do diddly squat ,the Paper Masks are made in unhygienic sweat shops in India , it's written on the boxes, they do not stop the transfer of diseases.
