Atlantis, sea levels and climate alarmism

In a short fun video, Dr. Willie Soon demonstrates how the sea level today is the lowest it has ever been. To do this he uses descriptions of the landscape of historical events and then looks at the same landscape today.

Dr. Willie Soon is an American astrophysicist and geoscientist. He is a co-team leader at CERES Science and is a leading authority on the relationship between solar phenomena and global climate. For more than 32 years he has been studying the Sun-Earth relations in terms of not only meteorology and climate but also in terms of orbital dynamics of Sun-Earth-other planets interactions, magmatic (volcanoes) and tectonic (earthquakes) activities.

In a recent video, he explored the claim that sea levels are rising. He begins with the lost city of Atlantis which was “consumed by waves and a serious case of global warming.” Is this the truth or myth? he asks. “Well, there’s only one way to find out …” and began his “time-travelling” journey.

Naughty time-traveller Dr. Soon visited Atlantis and other places where well-known events happened in the past. During his travels, he explodes the climate alarmists’ claptrap about sea levels.

He also explains why sea levels rise and fall and why sea levels are the lowest they’ve been in 500 million years.

“The sea level alarm is another bit of un-scientific fear-mongering!” he said.

They are trying to demonize C02, calling this C02 gas, which is the gas of life, basically a satanic gas and that is very, very wrong because what the planet needs, humans, the plants, the animals, even the ocean creatures the shellfish. In fact they created ocean acidification to scare people. They all need more C02!

This is the conclusion that is very, very firm. There’s not even a but… there is no doubt about this. Science, when you can reach this, what they call 5 sigma confidence, we are way beyond 5 sigma in terms of this understanding, so it is a very secure knowledge.
