Google Expands Chrome Autofill to Passports and Licenses, But Is It Safe?
Nov 04, 2025
Google says the upgrade builds on Chrome’s long-standing autofill capability for passwords, addresses, and payment details. The company promises stronger privacy protections this time, stating the browser will store information only with user consent, protect it with encryption, and ask for confirmation before it’s used. In a blog post announcing the update, Google wrote that users will remain “in full control” of their stored data.
While the convenience factor is clear, the change introduces new layers of sensitivity. Information like passports and vehicle details can reveal much more about a person than an address or phone number. Cybersecurity professionals are already weighing in on what that could mean for user safety. Continues at

Linux

This Linux distribution (“distro”) may be the best one for Windows ‘refugees’ taking the (unavoidable at this stage) leap. This video does a good job of explaining why:
The fact they DITCHED Firefox (made by Mozilla, a proud WEF “technology partner”) and use Brave instead is just another (very significant imho) bonus.
Reminder that Brave is Chromium-based which means all Chrome extensions you use (and love?) can be used with it as well.
Going to have a play with the latest major release myself and may even end up making it my “daily driver”. https://blog.zorin.com/2025/10/14/zorin-os-18-has-arrived/

Microsoft Adding AI Facial Recognition

If you have a Windows 10 machine, DO NOT ‘upgrade’ to Windows 11. Install Linux instead.
If you have a Windows 11 machine, FORMAT IT and install Linux instead.
Hopefully that’s clear enough!

Buy now pay later [BNPL]
Once again, this is the old fashioned Problem-Reaction-Solution scheme being deployed. Under the guises of safety and fraud prevention, the Buy-Now-Pay-Later industry will soon require biometric ID. And Visa is following close behind. Visa launched their Payment Passkey in 2024, which allows you to voluntarily make purchases with your phone’s built-in biometrics. Visa aims to be “biometric-first” by 2026. The International banking cartel has made it clear that this is where we are headed. It’s the only way the Crypto-AI control grid can function.
While many of us can clearly see this as a major upgrade for tyranny and an affront to human free will, many are perfectly content with an authoritarian state. The 2020 Lockdowns seemed to have re-enforced this. Continues at https://gregreese.substack.com/p/biometric-consent-is-the-digital

Mastercard feature enables banks to equip people with carbon footprint data and insights to help inform consumer spending and offer ways to contribute to reforestation.
Behavioral psychology and mind control narrative
New research on sustainability, commissioned by Mastercard, reveals a marked increase in consumer passion for the environment as a result of COVID-19. More than half of those surveyed across the world (54%) see reducing their carbon footprint as more important now than pre-pandemic. This signals a growing trend toward eco-conscious spending and consumption among people who want to turn their purchases and rewards redemption into meaningful action for the planet.
