The truth can feel uncomfortable when it challenges long held beliefs, some of them possibly tied to deep emotions. How long discomfort lasts is a choice. The following suggests ignoring and/or denying verifiable truths could lead to far worse discomfort.
Medical Journals Are Corrupt and the Research Is Mostly Junk
Dr. Wojak, M.D.
May 20, 2025 [updated]]
In a sane world, widespread fraud, rampant conflicts of interest, the corrupt peer review system, and the replication crisis would be enough to convince anyone that medical science is fundamentally untrustworthy.
What follows is a compilation of damning admissions from some of the most authoritative figures in medical science—top editors of the world’s most influential medical journals: The Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, The BMJ, JAMA, and more.
Short of study authors confessing outright fraud in their own work, these are the most credible admissions you’ll ever hear.

Why Most Published Research Findings Are False
Aug 30, 2005
Simulations show that for most study designs and settings, it is more likely for a research claim to be false than true. Moreover, for many current scientific fields, claimed research findings may often be simply accurate measures of the prevailing bias. In this essay, I discuss implications of these problems for the conduct and interpretation of research. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1182327/
Clinical trials
Examples of Methods for Pharmaceutical Companies to Get the Results They Want from Clinical Trials
• Conduct a trial of your drug against a treatment known to be inferior.
• Trial your drugs against too low a dose of a competitor drug.
• Conduct a trial of your drug against too high a dose of a competitor drug (making your drug seem less toxic).
• Conduct trials that are too small to show differences from competitor drugs.
• Use multiple endpoints in the trial and select for publication those that give favourable results.
• Do multi-centre trials and select for publication results from centres that are favourable.
• Conduct subgroup analyses and select for publication those that are favourable.
• Present results that are most likely to impress—for example, reduction in relative rather than absolute risk.

Optimization
Since 2005 or sooner, many medical journals published, unchallenged, false information. Another silent weapon in the quiet war on man.
Trying to change the beast system is futile. What individuals can change is our responses to it. In other words, open our mind, leverage verified new information, modern science and modern technology and take best possible care of our whole self first b/c we can only give from overflow.
Best self-care
The toxic load on our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual body, plus 24/7 exposure to harmful wireless technology are truly burdensome. Perhaps search for ‘best self-care’ practices to find something that suits you.
Ask people you know and trust for references if they experienced good results with alternative health care practitioners.
Gratitude
Be grateful for technology and leverage it to search the closest truth and interact with like minds in real time. Discern who you follow.
