Health Canada approves GMO cow free dairy

Remilk, a foodtech company specializing in production of animal-free dairy through precision fermentation, receives Health Canada’s “Letter of No Objection.” It is the first producer of animal-identical protein to receive approval from Canada. This means Remilk can now sell its animal-free BLG protein in the country for use in a variety of dairy products like milk, ice cream, yogurt, and cream cheese.
Canada is the 4th country after the U.S., Singapore and Israel to approve Remilk’s product.

Founded in 2019, the Ness Ziona-based startup produces milk proteins via a yeast-based fermentation process that renders them “chemically identical” to those present in cow-produced milk and dairy products. The startup claims the result is 100 percent similar to “real” milk. It recreates the milk proteins by taking the genes that encode them and inserting them into a single-cell microbe, which they manipulated genetically to express the protein. The product is then dried into a powder.

However, Perfect Day is not the only company developing these synbio proteins produced using genetically modified microorganisms in a process often referred to as precision fermentation. Oh my lord, people have completely lost their minds, want to stay healthy and alive. Only eat what mother earth have supplied us with, stop eating all this processed chemical shit storms.
This is as bad as Ozempic to loose weight for the obese. OMG people stop eating the chemical additive foods and you won't be fat. Drink this crap along with their no gmo beef.
I purchased 2 bottle calves, heifers, Jersey X Hereford. I am seriously considering keeping them to breed once per year to provide me with non-GMO grain fed beef for my freezer and taking some milk daily also, so I can make my own cheeses and creme. It is just another way I can avoid all the processed poisons at the grocery store. I have already changed my diet, initially to lose the excess weight gained over the plandemic and resulting depression from my husband's passing in Feb 2022. But now that I read all the labels, I am appalled at all the poisons and additives in 99% of what they loosely call food at the grocery store. 1 example. I found that all but 1 or 2 brands add CARAGEENEN to CREME at the store. Why in hell do we need a 'thickening agent' to be added to CREME?? It is toxic. I only found 1 brand: NATREL half and half creme, and a local glass bottled dairy nearby that don't add it. They even expose all the meat to C02 to make it look 'pink' and fresh when it starts to darken and go gray, so the meat you are eating could be sitting there for a month before you buy it. I just bought a half a cow from my neighbour instead, until my 3 meat calves (3 jersey bull calves to be butchered in July 2024) will be processed. We pick up the half cow next week. I know how he raised them, looked at them beforehand and I have used this provincial family run slaughterhouse for several years myself. It will be better and cheaper than the crap at the store.
This over processing must stop. It is not healthy to eat. If someone wants to go Vegan or vegetarian, so be it. But if that is their goal, why are they craving fake substitutes? Do they not realize how unhealthy that is compared to real meat and real vegetables?
