I live in Central America now Doreen.

I noticed that the lockdown broke a lot of people's Spirits.

Healthy men turned to drugs and alcohol. They never went back to work.

No one would consider hiring them now as they are unreliable.

Yes. The lockdown accomplished a lot of harm just as it was designed to do.

My son grew up in the 3rd world. He knows poverty. He has seen drug addicts and homeless his whole life.

He flew to Vancouver and was fascinated and disgusted at the level that city was in.

He sent me videos and photos of Grandville and Hastings as he went to work.

He saw dead bodies from drug ODs in the back ally he worked on.

He said the smell of human waste was over powering some days.

Vancouver was once one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Thank you, for sharing about Vancouver. 2023: Critics are raising concerns that drugs from Vancouver’s groundbreaking safe-supply narcotic vending machines could end up in the hands of youth. https://globalnews.ca/news/9433341/drug-vending-machine-youth-concerns/

The 3 year pilot project that ended Jan 2026, allowed drug users to carry substances such as cocaine and heroin without police confiscation, failed. Now the province is shifting focus to build up voluntary and involuntary treatment options. https://vancouversun.com/news/bc-officially-ends-decriminalization-pilot-project-over-public-drug-use
