Your brain's prefrontal cortex is your biological throne room
The Sovereign Mind.
Opportunity
The river of life, full of potential is winding in our direction. Will you stop a moment to notice and go with the flow?
How to train your brain

The prefrontal cortex of the human brain is where executive function lives, where strategic thinking happens, where you override your animal brain and become something more than a sophisticated ape responding to stimuli.
Most human beings never sit on that throne.
They let the kingdom run itself into chaos while they chase dopamine hits and call it living.
This isn’t self-help. This is monarchy training for your mind.
The Architecture of Command
Your brain is not a democracy. It’s a hierarchy, and understanding this changes everything.
At the bottom, you have the brainstem and limbic system: ancient, powerful, and fundamentally stupid.
This is your id, in Freudian terms, though I prefer to think of it as your inner animal. It wants food, sex, safety, and status.
It wants them now. It doesn’t care about your five-year plan or your values or the person you claim to want to become.
It cares about survival and reproduction, and it will sabotage every dream you have if you let it run the show.
Then you have your superego, that internalized voice of civilization, the rules and standards imposed from outside.
It’s your father’s disappointment, your culture’s expectations, the grinding machinery of social norms telling you who you should be.
The superego isn’t wisdom, it’s programming
Sometimes that programming serves you. Often it doesn’t.
But it’s there, judging, constraining, generating guilt and shame like a factory that never sleeps.
Between these two tyrannies sits the ego, trying to negotiate reality.
The ego is pragmatic, adaptive, concerned with what works. But the ego without a strong prefrontal cortex is just a middle manager with no real authority, constantly putting out fires, always in crisis mode, never building anything that lasts.
The prefrontal cortex is where you transcend all of this
It’s where you become the author of your life instead of a character in someone else’s story.
It’s where planning happens, where you delay gratification for compound returns, where you simulate futures and choose between them.
It’s where free will lives, if such a thing exists at all.
And here’s what they don’t tell you
Your PFC is atrophying. Right now.
Every time you check your phone instead of sitting with discomfort.
Every time you choose the easy dopamine over the hard work.
Every time you let your attention be captured instead of directed. You’re training your brain to be weak, reactive, enslaved.
The work of building a sovereign mind is the work of strengthening this neural throne room until it can command every other system in your skull.
The Five Pillars of Prefrontal Dominance
Here is the architecture. What you build with it is your responsibility. https://gabrielrealityofficial.substack.com/p/the-sovereign-mind-how-to-command
The One Mental Shift That Makes Life 10x Easier
Thomas Oppong
Oct 21, 2025
You’re not fighting life. You’re fighting your own need to control it. That’s the internal war we are all fighting. Not logic vs emotion. But our obsession with control versus our forgotten ability to accept the mystery of life. The real struggle is not between order and disorder, but between your wish for control and acceptance of the mystery of life. The problem isn’t that things are unpredictable. But we think it shouldn’t be. We want people to act how we expect, plans to go according to how we imagined, and emotions to behave on command. When they don’t, we label those realities stress,” “failure,” or “bad luck.” Refusal to flow with reality. Resistance to what takes away our peace of mind.
The brain loves control
It sees predictability as safety. So it builds stories, explanations, and rules. It tries to reduce the unknown into something you can handle. But when life breaks your comfortable loop, your brain panics. It doubles down. It tries harder to explain, label, or fix. You start fighting your own reality, arguing with what already is.
That’s how internal wars start.
You don’t need more control
You need more tolerance for uncertainty to take back your peace of mind. When you let go of the need to know why everything happens, you make space to experience it. You can curse fate, or you can accept that you’re simply not in charge of external experiences beyond your circle of influence. In times of loss or extreme life circumstances, the need for control becomes unbearable. You don’t have to like reality. You just have to face it. When you stop demanding life to make sense, you stop getting dragged by disappointment. When you stop pretending to know everything, you open up to almost everything. The peace of mind you desperately want is not hidden in order.
It’s in the willingness not to have it.

What you resist, persists
What you believe and what you think real and imagined cause you to feel and act a certain way, to which the Universe has only one response “And so it is”.
Quantum physics
Human emotions are frequencies; specific, measurable, electromagnetic oscillations broadcast by your nervous system that tune the quantum probability field [potential] to specific channels of reality. Each emotional frequency activates a different channel and the channel your system broadcasts on determines which version of reality materializes into your lived experience.
New beginnings
We are being guided in new directions toward self-awareness and self-empowerment. How much chaos reported by media is actually true? How much is propaganda to keep humans in fear, pitted against one another, playing small and distracted from divine potential awakening within us, to preserve our humanity and set ourselves free? https://www.ourgreaterdestiny.ca/t/evolution
