Bill S-206 is being sold to Canadians as a harmless, compassionate “Guaranteed Livable Basic Income” (GLBI).
Beneath its soft language lies the most dangerous legislative framework introduced in Canada in decades — a blueprint that requires the creation of a national digital ID, a central citizen file, and ongoing behavioural conditions for every Canadian aged 17 and older.
The public is being told this bill is about poverty relief.
In reality, it is the scaffolding for a federal control system.
This article exposes the architecture behind the bill — precisely what Senators and MPs have failed to understand or have chosen not to say out loud.
