Physicist Denis Rancourt answered with what he calls the hardest data available: official counts of who died, when, at what age, and of what recorded cause. States register births and deaths with legal precision. Those numbers, he told Canada’s Allison Inquiry, cut through narrative.
Layered assaults
After more than five years mining CDC and Statistics Canada records, Rancourt presented a case that excess mortality during the declared pandemic was not primarily the work of a spreading respiratory virus. It was, he argued, the result the layered “assaults” of lockdowns, isolation, economic shutdowns, financial-aid cuts, medical protocols, and mandated Covid vaccination campaigns.
Rancourt, an interdisciplinary researcher with Correlation Research in the Public Interest, divided his presentation into two parts: localized harm to individuals and widespread societal damage.

Dr. Denis Rancourt discusses mortality data he says shows sharp rises in deaths among pregnant women after COVID vaccine recommendations, followed by excess infant deaths nine months later, plus spikes in toddler and child deaths after age-group rollouts.
He argues these patterns align with mandate dates rather than early 2020, and that high-resolution spatial and temporal studies of deaths in Europe and the U.S. do not match person-to-person viral spread.
He attributes excess mortality to lockdowns, isolation of the elderly, hospital policies, disrupted care during vaccine campaigns, and other government measures, claiming that without the official response there would have been no excess deaths.
