“Why will life test you? Because theory doesn’t cover the price of admission to the highest levels of being.” Peter Sage
The brain is a hologram
In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century.
Aspect and his team discovered “quantum entanglement”, a situation where under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them, whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart.
Somehow each particle always seems to know what the other is doing. This violated Einstein’s long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Since traveling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Aspect’s findings. It also inspired others to offer even more radical explanations.
In his book, ‘The Holographic Universe,’ Talbot makes references to the studies of University of London physicists David Bohm, a former protégé of Einstein’s and one of the world’s most respected quantum physicists, and Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram. Their combined work is largely the cornerstone upon which Talbot built his ideas. Bohm and Pribram believe that the universe itself may be a giant hologram, quite literally a kind of image or construct created, at least in part, by the human mind.
Topics explored include telekinesis, psychic abilities, NDEs, OBEs, fire-proof humans, and even a human's direct ability to control the world around them.

Consciousness Creates Reality
The holographic paradigm also has implications for so-called hard sciences like biology. If the concreteness of reality is but a holographic illusion, it would no longer be true to say the brain produces consciousness. Rather, it is consciousness that creates the appearance of the brain, the body, and everything we interpret as physical.
Such a turnabout in the way we view biological structures caused researchers to point out that medicine and our understanding of the healing process could also be transformed by the holographic paradigm. If the apparent physical structure of the body is but a holographic projection of consciousness, it becomes clear that each of us is much more responsible for our health than current medical wisdom allows. What we now view as miraculous remissions of disease may actually be due to changes in consciousness, which in turn effect changes in the hologram of the body.

The Universe Is Not Locally Real, and Physics Nobel Prize Winners Proved It

The journey from fringe to favor was a long one. From about 1940 until as late as 1990, studies of so-called quantum foundations were often treated as philosophy at best and crackpottery at worst. Many scientific journals refused to publish papers on the topic, and academic positions indulging such investigations were nearly impossible to come by. Today quantum information science is among the most vibrant subfields in all of physics.
“What drew each of these Nobel recipients to the topic, and what drew John Bell himself to the topic, was indeed [the question, ‘Can the world work that way?'” Kaiser says. “And how do we really know with confidence?” What Bell tests allow physicists to do is remove the bias of anthropocentric aesthetic judgments from the equation. They purge from the work the parts of human cognition that recoil at the possibility of eerily inexplicable entanglement or that scoff at hidden variable theories as just more debate over how many angels may dance on the head of a pin.

Guided Meditation on Self-Love and Self-Worth
We can’t stop negative thoughts even if we try to replace them with positive ones, because the mind will always think. Instead, we can learn to give ourselves the kindness we deserve and boost resilience — two of the many scientifically proven benefits of meditation.
Outer world follows inner world
Authenticity is 400 x more powerful than love and prayer. The more authentic we are, the more cooperative we are, the more we contribute to a better world for more than just ourselves, and the more heart centered our choices the higher our consciousness.
Without prejudice and without recourse

Thanks for the prompt to explore deeper. Monk vs. Monkey mind. https://mindowl.org/monkey-mind/
The mind doesn't have to always think. We're conditioned to accept that as truth, but we do well with a warm heart and a quiet mind. It requires practice, also known as meditation.
