The bible tells us so
For millennia, a parasitic, energy harvesting entity has infected this planet. Some call it evil. Others call it demonic. Early Gnostics call it archons. Native American Indians call it Wetiko. Occultists calls it egregore, from the Greek root eger to control.
The Gospel of Matthew (4:8), the Gospel of Luke (4:6), the Gospel of John (12:31, 14:30, and 16:11) and 1 John (5:19) all say that Satan or a similar being (whom the Gnostics equated with the demiurge, chief of the archons) is in control of the world. 2 Corinthians 4:4 states in the bible ‘Satan who is the god of this world’.
Egregore
Look at any convention, concept, symbol, institution, or doctrine and ask two questions: “Does its existence depend on belief”?
“Does it entail control over people?”
If the answer to those two questions is yes, you’re almost certainly dealing with an egregore.
Access denied
These invisible parasites are real. When a critical mass of humans acknowledge their presence, their reason for being, what sustains them and deny them access to our personal life force energy, they can no longer exist.

What is an egregore?

An egregore is an esoteric concept in Occultism. It is an invisible, parasitic entity that arises from thoughts and emotions of humans individually and collectively. There exists a massive egregore created by masses of people that keeps growing, injecting fear and energetically feeding off it, in a vicious feedback loop based on fear including fear about the future.
Fearing what you “think might happen” results in more anxiety and paranoia as your brain (and occult entities) inject you with all kinds of worries and fear about the future. The more fear about what ‘might’ happen, the greater the probability for it to manifest.
Fear also lowers consciousness and psychic defenses, making you an easier target for occult matrix forces to take you over. Remember, these invisible forces create their desired reality through you, tagging into your weaknesses, fears, emotions and feeding off them.

Many in the so-called ‘truth movement’ revel in this paranoid fear frequency and have become food sources and pawns for parasitic entities outside their five-sensory awareness. I caution against believing any negative information about what will/might happen if you want to stop energizing the probability.
Transcend the matrix fear frequency
Invisible parasitic matrix forces want to keep us chained to fear, a frequency upon which they thrive. Fear that disconnects us from creativity, intuition, inner Divine guidance and power.
Some general tips on how to transcend the fear-based mutant matrix:
Make peace with death. It keeps you from truly living and thriving.
Engage in psycho-spiritual work and especially shadow work to bring forth your true Self [See Part III].
Work with prayer [See Part I + addendum below] and sincere aspiration to the Divine.
Be aware of your nervous system.
Get into your body [stay grounded].
Breathe consciously and take breaks from social media.
Align within with your higher Self, your personal guide and unique connection to the Divine [See Part I The Monad Call]. This is how you raise your consciousness and how living from your Divine essence has the most positive effect on the world at large.
Engage your fears, your shadow self, inner emotional wounds and negative emotions to transmute them. The solution is not denial, escapism, or spiritual bypassing, forcing yourself to have positive thoughts resulting in fake positivity. Addendum to Part I
The emotional frequency of praying ‘for’ something resonates lack. In other words ‘you do not now possess what you are praying for’. This activates the quantum Field of probabilities channel to reflect ‘it is not so’ into your lived experience.
When you pray ‘as if’ you already possess your prayerful intention and gratefully imagine, sense, feel it is so, the resonance of ‘it is manifest’ activates the quantum Field of probabilities channel to materialize it into your lived experience.

Great article Doreen. Just some of my thoughts as I study this subject and practice it so I can talk about it quite at length.
First off, the bible is no help at all. If it was we would be further ahead in two thousand years. The idea of a god is childish, but it was deliberately implanted to make us always look "out there" for approval which of course never comes, thus keeping us frustrated and subjugated. Referring to the bible is like referring to Wuthering Heights. It's purely a story, written only by men I'll remind. Power really comes from oneself. We have forgotten how to exercise this power so I will say the things I have found.
What you say about prayer is really visualization and one doesn't have to believe in a sky daddy for it to work. There are "formulas" to the realm and when we see things the correct way, it will unlock our dormant powers. While we look outside of our individual self, our power is immensely thwarted. Referring to bibles I feel is extremely unscientific and it would be good if we dropped that as much of a reference. I feel it was a document that was the first manipulation of our minds, the first MK Ultra Ultra because it inhabited our view of ourselves and where we stand in the realm.
Which is as a totally unique being with unimaginable ability to manifest. But we cannot manifest or at least not anywhere near instantly because we are so violent. And thus we cannot access these powers while we are in this state. The state is that we kill our own kind.
Indeed that is what causes these "dark entities". They are not demons or devils or archons, they are microbes probably and they live everywhere including within us. They are conscious beings with a huge network. While we talk about killing our own kind or anti-biotics and the like, we will never get them to work with us. And we will won't be able to access our powers or abilities that way. It is built into the formula because mother nature is incredibly intelligent. She is learning herself and I feel that humans are the ones who steer her. She is waiting for us to. However we cannot go beyond a threshold in evilness because it will cause our end or at least almost end. Humans are quite durable!
Believing in these evil characters only makes us sillier. It's actually as below so above. The micro makes the macro. But what directs its movement is human thought. Our thoughts feed microbes. Bad thoughts feed pathogenic microbes that debilitate us. They are the embodies energies of entropy.
Good thoughts feed "synergistic microbes" and they feed the good microbes that deliver health and vitality. We must never talk about killing life, using words like anti-microbial, anti-bacterial etc. That only takes us further away from accessing our dormant abilities.
Those who "prep" for disaster are actually summoning disaster because what we think is very powerful. It is dependent on the ratio of those who believe it compared to those who think things will be good. Usually because they are working to make it good. It won't happen by doing nothing.
Talk of demons, etc. will only summon demonic energies. I believe we humans are very different to all the other creatures on earth but we have forgotten why we're here. We forgot because we have been abused for so long and had to think of survival for so many eons.
It's very true that we have to make peace with death. Evil gets us to think about death as much as possible to keep us in fear. But there's nothing to fear because we are the creators sort of. Fear stops us from using that power. When we know we are the creators (even though we're still trying to figure out how to use these powers) then we know there is nothing to fear because we can simply make it the way we desire and we'll know how to.
But nobody ever leaned how to play the piano without much practice.
The advice you gave is helpful however what could have been added is that we must treat others as good as ourselves. And we must treat ourselves as good as we possibly can and even magnificently. If we can't do that, then we're not likely to understand the importance of treating others as though they are another me.
The idea of hell was put there to torture us. This energy tortures us because we torture ourselves. We kill our own kind and that's a total no-no in nature. Yes other species kill their own kind but to further the species, to make stronger genes, since that's important out in the wild. But no species kills its own kind premeditatedly, systematically and wantonly like we humans do.
So long as we do that, our problems will continue to plague us (funny how there was nothing like that in the bible, nor anything about nature - it's so easy to tell it was written only by men!) Also notice the hero worship in the bible? That comes from the male mind. Much more can be said about that and more. But I'll leave it here for now.
