in 2002, China detained and expelled Jiang, a Canadian citizen, branding him a spy while he filmed an undercover PBS documentary on labour protests. No charges were ever filed. Somehow he returned to China and got jobs in private high schools. Title inflation + sketchy past. Why trust him? People crave "prophets", no matter how phony they are, over credentials. I have said it before, but it's worth repeating it again. There are many intelligence assets who have been placed or created in social media spaces in order to assist in controlling narratives at some point in the future, or for even more nefarious purposes and activities. They say all the right things their intended audience wants to hear, gather a large following and gain access to bona fide media outlets and political circles. Don't fall for it. @LauraRuHK
